Welcome to the Unofficial Bernard's Watch Fansite.
This site is dedicated to the hit CiTV show Bernard's Watch. It was written by author Andrew Norris and starred talented young actor David Peachey.
The site is mainly run by John but has the small amount of help from Dan. We aim to make you welcome here and for you to feel that you can return to us.
About the show
The show was show on CiTV from 1996 - 2001 and from 2003 - 2004.
1996 - 2001
From 1996 - 2001 the show was about a boy called Bernard Beasely. Bernard was always late to things until one day the postman gave him a magic watch which could stop time. He later found out that the postman has magic powers too and that these watches were given to people who needed them. The rules of him having this watch where that he was not to be greedy and that he could not commit crimes.
2003 - 2004
From 2003 - 2004 the series changed with new actors and a new setting. The opening titles suggested that the watch flew through his bedroom window one night and that is how he recieved it (Not the Postman giving it to him). His best friend knew about the watch from the start unlike the original series where they found out along the way. To fit in with the more recent childrens shows then, Bernard hated girls and his teacher. He often used his watch to play tricks on them. If Bernard pressed the watch whilst touching someone, they would not freeze.
